We need Prado in a bad way. If freeman keeps developing he will be a monster. McCann hits lefties as good or better than righties. But yeah, Shafer, Lugo, Mclouth, Gonzo, Heyward....ouch. On another note, Lee in past 3 starts against Braves has an ERA above 7. Hanson last 3 vs Phillies is below 1. Wind in from left center at about 8 or 9 MPH.

Schafer hits .236, his on base percentage is .296. Come on .296? Most lead off hitters have higher batting averages

Gonzo hits .231

The three guy is a class act that can rake.

Freeman is what he is, a ..270 hitter that might hit 24 homers by season's end.
Not exactly the production numbers you want from your corner infielder.

Uglla, do we really want to visit what he's done at the plate this season?
If by 'normal strong' is hitting a buck 84, then yeah, he's Popeye the Sailor Man strong.

Heyward is .229, who can't get on base either.
.317 is weak ass, very weak ass

McClouth is.231

Dude, with the exception of the Irish catcher, today's line up is soft.
Like Carvel soft serve ice cream soft.

The only man 1-8, without including the pitcher is McCann who Cliff Lee might have to think about.

This lineup is soft today, not a Phil lover or Brave hater, but come on man, this is weak.
Who gets on base besides Mac?

gonzo, uggla, and lately schafer and mcclouth, those guys have been playing every day, freeman, mccann, and heyward all hitting well. they swept rockies with those guys. i'm just saying.

Does it mean they can't eke out a 3-1 win, of course not, but do you really to go to war against Cliff Lee with Schafer and Gonzo 1-2.
For McCann to do his thing, those two need to get on.

It really doesn't matter who you put against Lee. They will not have success.

I'm of the belief that when you face guys of Lee's caliber you should sit your best guys. Nobody really has a chance. But when you are in the same division with the Phillies you can not avoid it.

yea i'm on phillies, but i have watched some braves games lately (been losing my ass off betting against them) and wanted to say that i see these same guys every day

I am generally a stats guy, but since this is going to be a low scoring affair one mistake by either pitcher could be the game. McCand freeman and uggla have plenty of power so neither team has a significant advantage in offense. but i do believe the phils will take this one as well.
