Was just checking into Cleveland's starter tonight...
    and found this......

Holy crap the Indians have some depth in the pitching department....

The Indians had multiple options at Columbus to make the spot start that will go to McAllister. The 23-year-old was acquired by the Indians from the Yankees last year in a midseason trade that sent outfielder Austin Kearns(notes) to New York. In 15 starts at Columbus this season, McAllister is 8-3 with a 2.97 ERA.
The other options at Columbus were Jeanmar Gomez(notes), David Huff(notes) and Scott Barnes. Gomez is 9-2 with a 2.26 ERA in 13 starts. Huff is 8-2 with a 3.84 ERA in 15 starts, and Barnes is 7-2 with a 3.40 ERA in 13 starts.

Most people win trades with the Yanks. Yanks are trying to win today, while others can plan for the future.

Good under bet tonight, as it helps that Toronto has never seen this kid.

I would tend to agree with you about the under.....I will probably lay off the game all together....although I do usually like to bet rookie pitchers that have been solid in the minors.

agree, pitching depth in the organization hasn't been this good in some time (although Huff appears to be a classic AAAA pitcher). also agree with Houli that the under tonight looks promising. with respect to that, tonight looks as if it will be the third consecutive wind-free game. air's kind of dead, should help the under.

I hate when people point things like this out and I am all ready on the play...

Ain't that the truth. After all the success we had growing talent it looks like that has cooled off. Marte was a major bust and LaPorta isn't looking much better
