After a great Saturday I am having a rough Fathers Day so beware the fade alert is on!!!

Rangers Game 2--With the way the early game went there is a good chance this one will not be decided by the pitchers but the hitters and at this price Texas is worth a pull and its hard to avoid the over anytime the Rangers play--what does everyone think?

Gabbard 0-2 ERA over 7
Pedro 0-0 ERA over 7

Who is going to be available in the pen? The Rangers had to throw over 50 pitches in the last two innings to get out of the jam they were in. This could scream over but don't have an umpire or line up, anyone get 'em?

I agree Pedro has looked bad and the Mets could stretch him with the pen the way it is...but Gabbard does not look much better...

That's what I was thinking but that means we have to reley on gabbard and the mets hit lefties well and Gabbard has only gone 7 innings once this year!!

Think I'm going to take the rangers today at +140. So far father's day has not gone to good. Lost Padres and Reds and Won big on the Fresno St Bulldogs. 3-0 in the College World Series. Anyone have a pick for NC vs LSU +145. I'm jumping on the underdog LSU to go 4-0.

- both teams have horrible bullpens
- Pedro hasn't shown he can still pitch, at all
- Gabbard had been horrible lately but might have straightened himself out in AAA; he wasn't walking people like crazy like he was in his more recent big league starts, though he wasn't great
- the Rangers can hit, especially against righties
- the Mets don't hit lefties very well this season

I think the Rangers are excellent value here.

Has to be one of the strangest and sloppiest low-scoring games I've seen in a while. Usually with such mediocre pitchers and poor defensive plays you'd see a lot more runs.. the baserunning blunders have made up for it though.
