Det Tigers -170

Hi,

I like the Tigers today, bought for -170 last night. I've been following Barry Zito closely for the last 10 years and don't think he matches up well against the Tigers. He will also have to face a DH. The Giants bullpen is getting tired and have been getting beat up last few games. Last game Zito was clocked at 84 on his fastball, I can hit him. If he loses a little control he is in trouble.
So if you take the Giants and factor in for a game that they will have no starting pitching, weakened bullpen and their usual worst offense in the majors, then put them on the road in a new time zone, I can't see how they win.
Don't take run line, too many close games with SF.

SF looks like they should go down (esp. with Zito) but the problem is they've been coming through consistently in spite of (fill in the blank). Didn't see enough justification myself to roll with either value on SF or likely win on DET. ATL -1.5 and OAK were the only games that caught me today. Cheers and good luck though.

i hate zito but verlander is the only guy that should even sniff -170 (at home only) on the tigers
