This looks like a no brainer. Kennedy, 7-1 with a 2.16 ERA in his last nine starts vs Mitch Talbot (2-4, 4.91). Cleveland, is gonna have a hard time scoring runs against the Dbags stud especially when they are missing key slugger Shin-Soo Choo (broken left thumb) and is not using designated hitter Travis Hafner.

TBF, Ian Kennedy would have 10 wins by this point if he started in CC's place for the Yanks. Sabathia has averaged around 8 or 9 runs worth of support whenever he's started.

That's not to say that CC is or isn't a better pitcher than Kennedy.

Chill... CC's a great, no doubt. Just saying that I think Kennedy is far better than him, atm. The way CC pitched the other day is only gonna come around once in a while anymore, and when it does it makes the front page and everybody gushes. He's over the hill. Kennedy's got lots more of those days in the near and distant future, that's all. Peace.
