Rockies vs. Cubs under 11?

First off, I realize that the over/under is 11 for a reason and how high scoring games can be in Chicago when the wind is blowing out. Out of the last 9 meetings between these teams it has gone over 11 runs four times.

Some bookmarks also have the line at 11.5, and bookmarks aren't lowering the line even though 81% of the public are on the under which shows the oddsmakers are confident in the line they made.

However, I feel that 11 is pretty high for two respected pitches like Chacin (8-4, 2.71 ERA) vs. Garza (3-6, 4.11 ERA). Even though Garza has been pitching badly this year he is expected to get better as the season goes on. Also this is a make up game so Colorado didn't fly all the way to Chicago to play in a shit show. Just because the wind favors a lot of runs doesn't mean two good pitchers vs two mediocre offenses are going to produce over 11 runs. I would feel a lot different if it was Davis vs Cook but these are good pitchers. Lets not forget there is no DH in the NL and Garza and Chacin are easy outs. I think I like my chances with the under here.

I got the line at 11.5 and am putting 1 unit on the under. I was up 4 units on my bookie and then the Miami Heat destroyed my tab and I went on a losing streak and I've been battling back ever since. I was down 6 units Saturday morning but I'm on a comeback trail

Right now I'm down 1 unit and am putting 1 unit on the Under, If this hits I'm putting 1 unit on the Padres and calling it a day

to dan who says totals are not graded if it is cut short. yeah but if it goes to six innings it is a complete game and it does count! it did for me anyway

Yeah your right, If the o/u is 7 and the score is 12-0 in the 8th inning and you took the over and it is somehow rained out to the point that the game is stoped and not finished, the team will get the win but your over under is still a wash

I think the team still gets the win but im not positive about the that. I am positive that u dont win your bet though

well your books sucks. cause for a fact in the mets cubs game earlier this year in chicago. i played the over and it was in the seventh i think when it was called and was over andi won. so you are wrong
