    Yankees/A's In-Game
    What is everyone on?

    I have:

    1.25* A's +104
    .5* Under 8.5 -115

Also---I usually lose when I go against the Yankees.

Blanton is 0-2 with a 9.39 ERA in three career starts against the Yankees

The right-hander also fell to 1-6 with a 3.84 ERA in 10 outings at the Coliseum and leads the majors in home losses

          i find those numbers useless
oakland always gets up to beat the yanks
          always
and their pen is so much better than the yanks

          go oak

Although Statfox shoots about 50% i think?

            Play Against
            Road teams (NY YANKEES)
hot hitting team - batting .300 or better over their last 15 games, playing on Thursday

54-28 over the last 5 seasons.
            65.9% (27.4 units)

Day of the Week trends are stupid, but +65% is good. Putting this out there for what its worth.

Yankees are 1-4 in road games with a total of 8 or 8.5.
            Oakland is 6-3 in June.
Oakland is 15-7 in home games with a total of 8 or 8.5..

Everything else is roughly .500 for both teams.

i said significant edge. i favor blanton as the better pitcher at the moment but yanks with better offense. bet with a big edge. dont bet just to bet. bet to win

but their offense never wins them anything
so i prefer the better defense, pitching, and bullpen

Normally I agree with you a lot. I think you're one of the top baseball cappers here, and a really cool guy, but this is a ridiculous statement right here. The Yankees ONLY win when they're hitting the ball well. How many games have you seen them win the past 10 years where they scored less than 4 runs? Same goes on RL plays. You rarely see them winning 3-1, 3-0, 2-1, etc... They win games that are like 7-4, 9-4, 10-7, etc..

Oh, in that case, you're 100% right. We haven't won the WS since 2000. Pretty pathetic in the playoffs since. They're extremely overvalued. It sucks being a Yankee fan since birth, and a baseball handicapper. You have to be dead on with them, or you're definitely going to lose money. Going 40-34 on them during the year will be a losing proposition, you have to really know your team.

This team right now definitely needs to pull off a mid-summer deal, or they will not even get close to the World Series.

Oh, definitely, they need an 8th inning guy, and a 6-7th inning guy as well. Cashman better start making some moves.

P.S. Right now I'm actually hoping tonight is one of those rare nights where we don't need a lot of runs to win. lol.
