Value plays are mostly found...in totals (unders)...in national league parks...with the pitcher's batting essentially 12% percent of the batting order of both teams is "dead"...yes books compensate for this..on the average totals are 1 run...less than in the american league.....25 to 30 percent of totals fall on the KEY numbers of 7-9-11.....a half run obviously is key....squares bet what the want to happen..vs the probability of something happening...it is better to bet on the premise that nothing happens than something happening
two teams (have to be happening for an over)....IF TWO TEAMS ARE NOT HAPPENING..OR ONE IS AND THE OTHER ISN'T...UNDERCHECK OVER /UNDER BALLPARKS AS WELL AND PITCHER'S WHIP

There are 'tools' available...look at sportsspy/pregame.wire alerts show you the 'steam plays".........team ave runs per game...dailybaseballdata.com/weather.......when you see 90% of the public on one side (sportsspy) and the moneyline moving down ...tells you something....if you have the proper risk management......totals are the way to go......
