A lot of people put too much into the slow start, 162 games is more than enough time for a team with that kind of talent/payroll to have success.

most people don't understand how they munch pitchers and make them work like no other team. the league will see this soon. good luck AL but unless the red sox have a major injury (crawford out now) they will be in the world series.
