i like cubs here too, not sure about the total though. all signs point to over (2 subpar pitchers, 2 hot offenses) so that probably means take the under lol

I would have to disagree with 2 subpar pitchers.
Garcia career record against cubs is 4-0 and an ERA of 1.47
Outstanding record and Davis is just Davis.
The line opened very very low for yanks. Should have been more like -160 where it sits at now.
I think odds makers wanted us to bet on the yanks with great price at -130.
Also it took them a LONG time to post the totals for this game.
Why? I simply think they didn't know where to put the line at.
If they put the line at 8.5 people would obviously jump on the over, and if they put it on 10.5 people will still jump on the over thinking the line is set too high so it will go over.
I think 9.5 is the perfect range to get the most people off on the Over.

When Cubs home game total came out late and when the line was set at around 9.5, I think the total went over most of the time.

Yanks loose. Overlooking some great young talent in the cubbies who will come out ready at home and well rested after yesterdays batting practice game.

Calm down. Doug Davis falls apart every start in the 4th or 5th inning. When he falls apart it is to the tune of 4 or 5 runs in the inning.

This guy has no margin for error since he pops 86 mph at best with a tail wind and the jugs gun measuring only release point velocity.
