Good ball club against a bad ball club, isn't it just that simple?

There only one reason it may not happen. We all thinking the exact same thing. NYY ml rl and ov whatever the number, if Davis shuts yanks down so be it.

Why are the Yanks only -140? They should be like -300

I mean seriously, I know the cubs hit 12 home runs today but that was their best offensive game of the season. It's not gonna happen again. Defensively, they're laughable. Offensively, I suppose they could get lucky but other than Starlin Castro, who do they have thats an offensive threat?

So really the only way the Cubs can win is if they get lucky. Why the hell wouldn't you bet the farm on the Yanks...? what am I missing here.

over for me. if this first game suddenly become pitching duel, so be it. seeing both teams can't hit the ball out of ballparks itself already make my day

My only worry is F. Garcia. I do not trust him. He got pounded by the Red Sox the last time I bet with the Yankees. -140 is really good and I thinking should I take that now or wait until tomorrow when it the money could be worse.

facing the Red Sox lineup and the Cubs lineup is 2 COMPLETELY different things.

                              Pitching duel?

Doug Davis, ERA 5.90 is pitching, right?

Haven't looked closely at this game, but I'm going to say what everyone is thinking.... it's too easy.

73% on Yanks at -145 and it hasn't gone up.

Serious question: are interleague games like exhibition games? Or do they figure into the team standings? Maybe the Yanks just show up, hit a few into the stands, then play hookie on their iphones rest of the game?

garza is light years better than doug davis. this is a new category of locks with doug davis on the hill. sometimes these soft throwing lefties give teams trouble but davis has not won a start all year and fooling nobody but himself. key to him having any chance in this game is no walks. he must throw strikes then run to the closest church and pray the yankees hit the ball where a cubs player is standing. that is his only chance to win assuming garcia pitches decent.

It's gonna be Davis then Dempster then Wells. I guess the only pitcher who has a chance of stymieing the Yankees is Dempster.

gonna play a little devils advocate here...im actually on the cubs (sorry guys!) not that im saying the yankees have no chance, but i feel like the cubs actually DO have a chance...yes davis is pretty bad...but does garcia really inspire confidence against a team that put up 12 runs yesterday at wrigley with a handful of homers? i feel like the bats are hot, yankees bats are so-so right now, with a late OT win against texas, then travel to wrigley where the cubs are waiting for them, PLUS i like the + money for the cubs at home and a lot of the public sees to be on NYY...luckily its a day game so whoever loses will have time to make it up tonight! sorry guys im on the cubs (blast away if im wrong lol) but BOL as always

yankees should win this, that being said an awful lot of chalk for my liking. garcia is a pretty good pitcher at home but on the road its a different story. that being said i might put a unit or 2 on the yanks
