What do you mean? He was never a great pitcher and he had the Seattle and Oakland offenses to feast on while in Anaheim. His career ERA is just about 4.00. While that's not terrible, it's nowhere near what it should be for him to make that kind of money. The Red Sox turned into the Yankees a couple of years ago, and one of their terrible player purchases was Lackey.
