    Phillies -rl
Halladay is 8-3 (10-3 on the ML) with an ERA of 2.56 this season and the Phillies have won 6 of his 7 home starts. This tells us there's a good chance the Phillies will win. The preceding paragraph tells us there's a good chance the Cubs will lose by at least 2 runs when they fall.

Halladay is 25-5 on the money line in his last 30 starts when priced as a favorite of -175 to -250. His teams are winning these games by an average of 2.7 runs. Take Philly on the run line.

And he is he is 0-3 against the Cubs with a 4.50 ERA in three starts during his career. Last July, the last time he faced Chicago, Halladay allowed six runs in six innings in one of his worst starts of the season. Pick your poison.

6 of phi 10 wins when Doc starts this season are by 1 run. Phi cant hit to save their lives atm. Big Z has been pitching really well. Scrubbies are hot!! (2 in a row is hot for them!). Chi will get some hits off Doc, the question is will they be able to turn those hits into runs? One of the top BA in the NL but worst with risp. Even if Doc throws a complete gm giving up a run or two will that be enough for phi to cover the rl? I wouldnt count on it.

Terrible spot to play the philly rl. Take it when they're facing a less adequate opponent on the mound, if ever.

Cubs are 3rd in the league in batting average but hitting only .231 with runners in scoring position. Maybe some of that will start to even out.
