MLB Triple Play Friday (85-100, -9.76)
I gained a whopping nine cents with my 1-1 Thursday, as Jason Giambi took a lot of food off the table for me and my family. The Bullpen System was 1-2, as it had my two plays plus the Rays. BPS is now 73-84, -7.09 YTD. There looks to be 3 BPS plays today, although I only have 1 of them:

    Orioles +162 (5 Dimes)
    Athletics +102 (WSEX) *BPS*
    Cubs +110 (Bodog)

    YTD: 85-100, 46.0%, -9.76

    LT,

On the BPS, have you looked at a screen that eliminates the games that have the top 2 or 3 hitting teams in each league (perhaps Texas, Boston, Cubs and Atlanta to start) that opposes any of the top 10 bullpens. In the last week alone, slightly less than 5 units were lost when 2 top bullpens (Tampa and Baltimore), were matched against Boston.

Boston went 6-1 in that span, and the bullpen is looking very solid now. They're a very balanced team now

Lt, what is your reason for choosing the A's? I understand that they are a BPS play. But do you really think that an Angels bullpen will give up enough runs in the late innings to a team with one of the worst offense in the Majors?

Blanton has actually pitched well at home although his record doesn't show it, and he allowed only one run in seven innings the last time he faced the Angels at home, so I expect a tight game decided by the bullpens late. Advantage A's there.

LT, can you link me to the exact page that shows Pinnacle's closing lines? I'm not sure what Florida ended up closing at. SBRLINES doesn't always have the exact closing lines for the books. Thanks.

                  bigugly,

Just look at covers MLB scoreboard after game is in progress. That is line that will be loaded into history.

In this case, Marlins -131 so NO PLAY

Do you think it's always accurate as the actual closing line?

Whether or not it is 100% accurate, it IS the line loaded in the hstrory so it is the line to use unless there is an obvious error, which frankly I haven't seen yet.
