I've been a fan of his since his early days with the Twins but he's long past his prime. Yesterday was especially bad--killed my over play.

The angels have fallen into the trap of giving guys in their early 30's 5-6 year deals... now those guy aren't worth the money... See T. Hunter, G. Matthews
I still think they are paying matthews 10 million NOT to play this year.

Scrubs, Mets -- same old teams make the same stupid mistakes. It's amazing how back-asswards their thinking is; while the smarter ballclubs are getting rid of these guys who are past their prime, these teams are signing the "big names" to huge guaranteed deals, then they proceed to go bust.

more sad than funny, but that's just my opinion. he played a big role in helping me win my Fantasy league a couple years ago. this is too bad. i hope he snaps out of it.

he doesn't know how to hit, he is a swinger. you don't go up there trying to swing so you rotate into the ground 3 feet every time. once he learns that you can produce for your team without hitting the ball out of the stadium he will be a better asset to his team. until then he will continue to get the same results.
