Lincecum/Westbrook a pick'em?

sorry, i wrote this whole response and it got lost in the forum update crap.

long story short, any time a popular crowd pitcher goes for that cheap, i fade....its not a bargain, its a sign...thats my opinion...anytime any pitcher is priced super super expensive i fade....

there is really no reason any pitcher should be more than -160ish in a fair world, and a one sided pitching matchup should be minimum -130...

so these "ACES" should be between -125ish to -165ish...anything lower or higher is a good bet to fade to me.

but as far as aces, its kinda simple to cap...if too expensive, fade. If too cheap fade. If the right price, consider it (this doesnt mean take it, lol...)

INCLUDING their starting catcher.

No. If I was I would've had as poor an analysis as you. Look at Westbrook's L10. The trend that popped out at me was that he generally has 2 decent outings of 100+ PC, then a mediocre one, and then he settles back onto the saddle. Expected this to be a low-scoring affair that could be decided by the bullpens. STL's pen has pitched better, but has pitched more innings recently. Although Larussa and/or Duncan is probably aware of his PC issue, they'd probably prefer to try to curb that on his next outing when their pen is more rested. That is also a game closer to his next trended mediocre start.

Anyways... Those are the reasons that I've already cashed my STL 5th. It's 3-3 now. Hope you cash play you made on STL even though "This is not even close."

I was pointing out that they were missing an integral piece, who's really been their best hitter, and the pitching was a mismatch. Sure, they're home, but I was surprised to see the line as a pick'em.

Not shortly thereafter, STL scored on a passed ball that should've (and would've) been stopped by Posey. Timmy is gonna give that catcher MORE than an earful to him about screwing up his groove. And btw, I've already explained to you the squareness of the argument that "It's not even close between the starters," and why. Everybody else that ACTUALLY capped this game saw what I saw. You focussed on the All-Stars and their career #'s. Keep capping like this and you won't get many more treats from Vegas like you did tonight, since you obviously took the Giants and then changed it to STL after everyone started telling you about all of the millions of other factors.
