also, i'm not a very emotional or empathetic person, but i'd like to offer a sincere keep-your-head-up to all Ohio State fans on this day, perhaps the saddest Memorial Day ever with the news of the resignation of James Patrick Tressel over perhaps the stupidest fkn rule on the books (the ability to sell stuff rule, not the NCAA compliance statement rule, where Tressel wrote his own epitaph). i feel as if someone died. when it hurts today, just remember Maurice Clarett ripping the ball out of Sean Taylor's hands. nothing that happens in 2011 can take away perhaps the greatest play in OSU history.

thanks, pal. i love 5D for baseball. you have to sign up for reduced juice as your bonus instead of free play, but it's worth about 5c of juice on the average game, which is huge over time. tons of props (like first innings). they're also great for soccer if you play that. i've heard stories about payout problems and cancellations of wagers but i've never had an issue.

absolutely. i love the guy, but his stupidity in covering it up was offensive (particularly when he's always promoted himself as a straight-arrow, which makes it more hypocritical). that said, it's sad to such a perfect marriage between school and coach end like this. i know a guy who won a national title for Woody Hayes and whose son played on Tressel's national title team, and he and his son both felt like Tressel had to go. Ohio isn't exactly the good news capital of the sports world, he was the best we had and likely the best we'll have for a long time. the thought of Urban Meyer makes me want to puke.

The OSU thing is bad Biff. I know from during the season that you liked Tressel. We all know that OSU will march on - not to sure about this season though - it might be a huge hurdle to get over along with the suspensions.
