Yanks avoid sweep with CC? Why is the line low?
Yanks are avoiding the sweep on a sunday afternoon against Seattle with CC on the mound.

Sounds like a lock right? Why did they open so low? They opened at -138 at pinny and -149 at 5dimes, -150 at bookmaker.

Last time CC took the mound in Seattle, he opened at -240.

I hate taking road favs and I just would tread carefully if anyone decides to take Yanks, because of course the line is climbing, but that's expected with them opening so low.

    Thoughts on this?

Today's Sunday night. Pubs are on Yankees with ACE on the mound.
Pubs dont even know who Seattle's are and even my baby brother knows who Yankees is.
Line opened very low for Yanks and very good value play for Seattle.

No play or Seattle ML. Seattle +1.5 looks good as well.

Fade the Public on Sunday Night.

Seattle ML, pure value play but pitchers like sabathia are what give soft lineups like Seattle trouble. Liriano, a B level CC clone, dominated Seattle a couple of weeks ago.

It just doesn't make sense why Yanks are so low here. Its like they MUST win today, but are only around -160 after a bit of movement.

          No play for me.

I hate backing a square play but the Mariners bullpen is spent....both League, Pauley, and Wright have pitched the last two days.....sure the Yankees bullpen is probably spent minus Rivera but CC is a horse, probably more than anyone this side of Halladay. I could see him going at least 8 if he is effective at all. Olivo & Adam Kennedy not in the lineup. If CC can handle Smoak & Ryan, I don't see who else could get to him. Then again I've been good fade material lately.

Call me a sqaure. I'm on the Yanks. Vargas can pitch but he gets the lowerst run support in the league. GO YANKEES!

Yankees are doing a nice job making Vargas work......already 60+ pitches in 2.1 innings. They want Vargas to go deep in the game. Yanks will either get a weary Vargas or an exhausted pen. Ump not giving him the corners either. Meanwhile CC is efficient so far.
