Well it was a profitable first week for me last week. Going 5-2 good for +4.04 units for my first week of baseball this season. I look to continue that this week and let's hope I ca get it started with today. Here is what I like today.
Angels +125 (BetJM) Joel Pinero has pitched really well so far this season. I am looking for that to continue today agaist Brett Anderson who has really struggled as of late allowing 4.3 runs per game the last three games good for a 6.12 ERA his last 3 games. I know the Angels have struggled in the bullpen, today I am hoping Pinero can give them a comfortable lead before they have to head to the pen. I will play the Angels today looking to grab game one of this series.
Washington: -1.5 +180 (BetJM): Look for the the Nationals to take advantage of a struggling Pirates team tonight. John Lannan is looking for revenge from the earlier meeting this season between these two pitchers and I feel with how well he has pitched at home this season he is due to get it tonight. Pittsburgh has lost their last 5 games by two or more runs and that should continnue tonight. I am going to take a risk and jump on this RL tonight with such a nice price against a struggling Pirates team.
Here are few leans that I like but I just won't pull the trigger on them.
White Sox -1.5 +160 (BetJM): I liked the Sox against Colby Lewis today they have had success against him and they have been heating up winnning 6 of their last 8. The Travel though from Oakland to Chicago has me backing off I saw what happen to SF the other day when they went from SF to Chicago and then they got pounded 11-4 by the cubbies.
Yankess ML +135 (BetJM): The yankess lost 5 straight and just got swept by their Arch Rival Boston. I could see them wanting to come out and pick up a well needed win against Tampa Bay. AJ Burnett has pitched decent so far this season but David Price has pitched well at home against the Yanks an I am not going to back the Struggling Yanks against a top Notch pitcher like Price.
