Cards are 2 and 6 when Carpenter starts this season. As good as he was last season he was still 7 and 9 on road. This is the no brainer of the day

Carpenter hasn't been his past Cy Young self yet this year, and I think the Cards can put up runs off of wood.

our defense is just bad and i dont see any fixes for that in the near future.

Carp hasnt been bad (w the exception of a few outings) for the most part he has been a victim of bad defense and piss poor relief pitching (main reason his whip and era are so high is because in the bad games he has thrown we still leave him out there to save our pen cause he will compete), the guy is still a horse and has very good numbers against the reds (besides votto). CARDS will no get swept here.

Carpenter has looked terrible this year but I just feel he is do for a big game. He use to be the best pitcher in the National League and has been on a quick decline.

the good news is it is not like his velocity is down, if anything it just seems like his curve hasnt had the bite it usually does, pretty sure he will figure it out, plus he has had several good starts but team either let him down with defense or the pen blew the game.

i was worried bout his arm coming into season but i think he is actually gonna be fine this year just based off what ive seen.

Sometimes its just not the pitcher that has to play good. cardinals suck!! Over hits!!! sucks to be have money on cardinals thinking they cant get swept!! of course they can get swept. WHY NOT!!!
