Andrew McCutchen Benched Tonight

The Pirates coach has sat McCutchen for not running out a drop third strike. What are your thoughts about benching professionals for not doing so. Honestly, I think it is a little stupid, no one ever gets on, so why even worry about?

Hunter Pence did it just a few weeks ago. If the guy isn't go to even try then bench his ass.

Pisses me off when some of these guys don't even hustle to the bag for the millions they get paid a year...

but not running out a ground ball he should be benched

pence and mcutchen are like the best hitters on their respective teams. fine him or make him run laps at practice, dont hurt the team.

I was saying hunter pence made it to 1st on a 3rd strike drop a few weeks ago and just yesterday he busted ass on a routine single and made a double out of it before the center fielder even knew he was running.

It might happen more often if some of the guys would actually try and run

If there not going to give 100% then they don't need to be playing.
