Why do you like the reds? I know a lot of guys post pics, but I rarely see a right up or as to why they came to that pick.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Not a lot but, the over looks good as well.
Cincinnati is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games
Cincinnati is 5-2 SU in its last 7 games when playing Houston
The total has gone OVER in 5 of Cincinnati's last 7 games when playing Houston
Cincinnati is 10-4 SU in its last 14 games when playing on the road against Houston
Cincinnati is 7-3 after playing Chi Cubs
Astros are 3-7 after playing Pittsburgh

Flashback to May 4th... same pitching matchup Reds win 3-2 in 9th inning rally, fast forward a week and we have the same matchup Monday Night... Travis Wood won't match his pitching performance from last week and will easily give up 4-5 runs on the road, in addition, Aneury Rodriguez who will make his 2nd start against this highly potent Reds offense won't be able to fool this line-up again... Definitely on the OVER!

While I agree that Rodriguez won't be as good making his second Major League start vs. the same team five days later, I disagree about Wood, I think he is about to recapture his great form from last year.

Your right... looking at his stats from 2010 and his ERA was 3.51... Still like the OVER in this game though. Hoping the Reds turn it on early like they have a tendancy to do in the last few innings lately!

I watch every Reds game RELIGIOUSLY.....they own Houston, Chicago, and especially Milwaukee (20 of 24)....HOWEVER....Votto is completely lost right now...nobody is swinging the bats except Stubbs & Bruce (2 Texas boys coming home)! I wouldn't play the Over w/Votto, Phillips, and Gomes struggling like they are but the Reds will still win with the much better pen....probably like 4-2 although I hope their sticks wake up!!

The ERA was good, but more importantly, he allowed only 85 hits in 102.2 innings, the league batted only .222 off of him and he had 86 strikeouts against just 26 walks.

Wood is getting ahead of everyone but he keeps leaving 0-2 or 1-2 pitches in the middle of the plate? Thats easily fixable....better than nibbling the plate! Reds pitchers in general have got burned at Great American Smallpark by pitching away/away trying to stay away from the hitters power when the ball carries out to right like crazy and the ball goes out anyway? Wood should be fine on the road!

This year however opponents are batting .315 against him, and away from GA Ball Park in 18 innings he has given up 20 hits... Houston will also get back one of their only power and RBI guys as well in Carlos Lee (granted he is only batting .228).

Last time LT psoted a play that everyone like, he was mused by the forces of SBR posters.
Woods last start @Houston was an abortion.

Be afraid of the over...gl anyway though! The Reds just scored 4 runs total against Casey Coleman (7s era) and Ryan Dumpster (8s era)? Hopefully the warmer weather will wake them up but I don't see Houston getting past 3 so you're asking the Reds to score atleast 6?

The Reds do take out the trash though! Thats how they won the division last year by 5 games despite going 6-12 against St. Louis!
21-8 run vs Houston
20-4 run vs Milwaukee
12-3 run vs Chicago
