Blinded by the light.
That's a ball you have to catch when you went from getting paid $40,000 a year, all the way up to $17,000,000. No excuse to fall over and drop that.

The day started great, and went down hill for me. Seems like every other day in baseball this year.

Thanks man. Yeah, I hate that too. I usually play -1 for that reason, and probably should've done the same today. Just an aggrivating day. Was on the right side of both RL plays, only to lose, and that brutal collapse by the Cubbies.
As dio says...On to tomorrow...

Right? It seems lately I've been +/- 0.0x every single day. I guess it's better than -5 days, but it's still not fun.

I try not to get on the subject of exactly how much I win or lose with her. Since I don't touch each respective sport's bankroll until the end of the season, it's hard for her to keep track on a daily basis. The only thing she can really go by is my mood, but since I have mood swings, and anger issues, that's not exactly easy for her either. Most people I've talked extensively to on here know the story, but I don't think I explained it in depth to you. Sports are an investment to me. I never enjoy my money. I win on the year, that money comes home and sits in my secondary bank acct until the following year. Then, the following season, I put the original roll PLUS the winnings from that past year back into my accts. Repeat the cycle. It's worked out pretty well since I haven't had a losing year in MLB, the NBA, the NFL, and MMA for the past 5 years. So, since I never even see the money, she has no reason to be involved with it. The only things she gives a crap about financially are, if there's enough money to pay the bills, and making sure I don't touch our money to gamble. She's usually pretty good with realizing that in construction, when there's work out there, you work 50+ hours a week (if you're smart enough to take the overtime when you can get it), and when there's not, you're home for a few weeks. This time however, since it's been way longer than usual, mrs. chute hasn't taken it too well. She's all over me for pissing money away on pointless (in her opinion) things.
