FYI, never bet on the Red Sox or the under when this guy is on the mound. I've learned that the hard way. Worst era among starters in the whole major league.

No argument here. no sure the sox had any choice but to sign him up to free agent contract. pitchers are hard to come by for them given their home park

totally agree but what do you do? They made a bad deal and they are stuck with the contract. Guy would have trouble getting outs in AA ball.
