What do you guys think of Zito tomorrow?
I was looking at the lines for tomorrow and Zito is listed at +160 versus Scott Olsen. I'm thinking that it may have potential.

While the Fish are playing well and Olsen has been solid, it's not like the Giants are facing a team like the Cubs with a superb offense.

Zito has a 3.94 ERA this month so far, which is a major improvement. Besides, he's overdue for a win after going 0-8.

The Giants bat .262 versus lefties.
The Fish bat a mere .232 versus lefties.

The Marlins have averaged 4 runs per game over the past 5.
The Giants have averaged 4.2 runs per game over the past 5. So their offenses have been about equal.

It may be worth a shot. What do you guys think?

Its a nice price but Florida just beat Owings, Webb and Haren.

            Sweep city.

I'll stay away and maybe consider the over.

I know the Giants better than Bruce Bochy does. Seriously.

Would I outright bet the Giants in this game? No, they traditionally struggle in Florida, even when the Giants have had great teams and the Marlins were suspect (2002). Not to mention Florida is on fire these days and Zito has been sucking ass for 2 years now. Do you enjoy giving money away?

Sure he might do better and give you 6 innings tomorrow giving up 2 runs, if you're lucky. Big whoop. In waltzes Vinnie Chulk from the pen and gives up back to back jacks...

Florida has always been a tough place for us to win for some reason. Even when we had great teams and they were crap, theyd still kick our asses.

Only way Sf wins tommorrow is if they score 8+ runs in the game and the fish have been playing very well at home latley, coming off a dominating sweep against Ari. If you like money take fish, if your a deg take Sf

Everybody and their mom on the Marlins tonight. And why not? Zito sucks. Marlins playing well. Marlins just spanked Dbacks.

Call me crazy but I like the Giants here coming off a rest day and 2 wins. Maybe a small let down my the fish tonight after sweeping the Dbacks and getting to hit off a batting tee tonight (aka Zito). Not to mention, line movement against the Marlins despite heavy action on them. I'm gonna parlay the Giants +1.5 with the Tigers.

No numbers point to it. So there is no reason to play the Giants other than a public fade. Take the Marlins RL. The Marlins have won by 2 or more runs in 6 of 9 of Olsen's starts. Giants have lost every one of Zito's starts, and 8 of 9 of them were by 2 or more runs. No reason to take the Giants, keep riding this money train fading Zito until it stops.

                            Not to mention Olsen's 4-1 2.82 ERA.

And the Giants average 3.2 runs in road games. Haha thats so bad.

                            Also:
                            Play On
                            Home teams (FLORIDA)
starting a pitcher who walked 5 or more hitters last outing against opponent starting a well rested pitcher who is working on 5 or 6 days rest

121-72 over the last 5 seasons.

I actually like this play. This game is almost too good to be true. Marlins have their best pitcher at home against a guy who hasn't won a game all year.

A game the Marlins SHOULD win. I hate betting on the Marlins when they SHOULD win.

In fact, they have played good teams very well and bad teams poorly all year.

A game the Marlins SHOULD win. I hate betting on the Marlins when they SHOULD win.

In fact, they have played good teams very well and bad teams poorly all year.
