Apr 29 Young (biceps tendinitis) threw a bullpen session that went well Thursday, the Star-Ledger reports.Recommendation: Young lost some velocity on his fastball during his first start of the DL, prompting some concern. As he was only slated to go 85-90 pitches and ended up at 88, it was not surprising that he lost some life on his fastball late in the outing. What the bullpen session showed was that his arm was healthy and he had no residual effects after the start; paving the way for Young to make his scheduled start Sunday against Philadelphia.
