how come you think kc will win? boston at home are practically unbeatable. esp when dice K wins, boston hasn't lost this year yet.

I like Boston -1.5...Even if Bannister pitches decent in day games.
Quick Facts
Boston hits:
.315 in day games
.300 at home
.288 vs. RHP
Daisuke's ERA in day games is 0.00 in 13.1 IP and he allowed 11 hits, and 2 runs came in. Also had 13 K's in those innings and 6 walks. Gave up 1 HR too.
2.05 ERA at home for Dice K.
KC on the other hand:
.264 in day games
.251 away
.252 vs. RHP
(no comparison to Boston's offensive capabilities)
Pitching:
Bannister
7.59 ERA away
0.62 ERA in day games (in 29 IP thats two extremes for night and day)
8.78 ERA vs. RHP (however relevant that is)
I'm also pretty sure that Bannister's day game ERA was against teams that were slumping or are not that good to begin with. He held Detroit to 0 ER in 7 IP early in the season, when Detroit sucked. Anyways...Kansas City won't score more then 3, so its hard to take them.
Boston -1.5 (EVEN)
Prediction: Boston wins 7-2 or 7-3
