Fade thread, correct, I'm fading the Eck haters, you guys make it seem like he's scum Lang who fleeces naive players, I respect Eck, dude is syndicated by UPI, Tribune, has his own service, posts his selections for free, supplies resources.....
He started off cold, big deal ,cut him some slack.
I've seen him go 12-16 for a month, then go 32-14 for the next two, numerous times.
I've known of Eck since thee 80's, he's been getting it done since '79, IMO this is not the time to fade him.
That's why I'm posting here, not to be an asshole, just trying to point out he's going to get hot, now might be the time.

nash, i or cant really speak for other posters, do not hate eck. i simply started this thread from day 1 because i like to play DOGS and he is mr. chalk. hot and cold streaks will come that is for sure, but if you look at his past for example, from posts that i read he could finish 100-80 and still be down a good chunk. thanks for your opinion and insight and good luck to you on your plays................DWCHComment -

He is indeed Mr. Chalk, he did give out a +158 doggy last year (Brews I think) that was solid.
Whenever I see him play a nice doggy, I'm on it like PO69 on a jelly donut.

I get what the OP is saying, and for the most part it makes sense.
I get it fade the big chalk.
I like my angle too, take the big chalk, make 'em dogs on a r/l, more time than not, a lot, if the big fave does go down, it's more than 1 run.
I won't lay -160, hardly ever, but I love turning 'em into dogs.

So I went back and checked the thread for the last 30 plays. If you take Mr Chalks plays and make them a run line dog you would be 7-23 for a whopping -14.45 units. And yes that is including the last 2. If he ever does win it's usually by 1. So you should give up and leave. Bye.
