The whole Boston Red Sox team should be dropped off on an island outside of Cuba with one 5 seat canoe and a box of RTE Meals. They should be forced to fight each other to board the canoe and whoever makes it back to the USA should then have to stand in front of Johnathan Broxton and get hit in the face by 5 pitches. Whoever lives can start back at Single-A ball.

teams are rightfully so stacking left handed starters against them...way too many left handed hitters cannot get it done especially playing at fenway...back in the day they used to go after right handed bats...wait till next year...at least they can replace those stiffs ortiz and drew with some right handed free agents if there are any...they're stuck with crawford who can't steal bases if he can't steal first...and gonzalez couldn't outrun mama cass elliot to first base and has been constantly doubled up...

you're an idiot for betting them to begin with. lineup full of lefty's facing a great up and coming lefty with good stuff and bucholtz is obviously not the same pitcher as last year. not to mention varitek was in the lineup, which is an automatic out. play the sox -150 with beckett tomorrow if you want to turn that epic streak around.

Yep, and the LAA are coming to BeanTown for another whipping next Monday. RedSox will be fine.

there's no doubt that carl crawford is putting pressure on himself. he just needs to relax and play ball

Crawford has been a huge disappointment so far. The most expensive 8 hole hitter in baseball history.

What's also been lacking is the fact that nobody is hitting home runs.

How Crawford performs does not matter. He will get paid wether he hits .170 or .300 does it really matter, he is set for life.

good for him..but that doesn't help the team any...they will ride him out of town on a rail after they tar and feather him if he doesn't start producing...they didn't need a duplication of ellsbury in their lineup...they were afraid the yankees were going to get him...panic signing...they could have had jason werth a solid right handed bat...
