Phil Coke is trash. Even if Detroit is the superior team, how can Felix Hernandez only be -120 going against a converted mediocre reliever? Is their some stat out there where the Ms are 0-54 with the homeplate umpire and 1-32 against converted mediocre left-handed relievers?

It is a low line, but Seattle sticks are weak, Miggy owns King, but still should be -135, King is OK on the road.
Don't like it, and not touching it.

Seattle can't score and Coke has yet to allow more than two earned runs in any of his three starts. League is batting .208 off of Coke, .256 off of King Felix.

Did Coke morph into a good pitcher? I recall on the Yankees he was good for giving up a jack. I didn't see much talent in him. This has to be a fluke start to his season.

Did you see Ian Kennedy last night against the Phils too? Yanks must be thinking right now.

Under is the play here. Coke is 91-94 with slide piece. He has been pitching ahead and with 17 mph wind blowing in from right I like the under

it because the yankees don't give players a chance to develop into major league pitchers. they either shove them in the pen like joba or send them out and buy top players for extremely high cost. ivan nova will be gone within a year if he doesn't produce like phil hughes after one year.

Coke faced the Mariners in seattle last week and loaded the bases with 4 counsecutive walks in the first inning and then compounded his mistakes by making several errors.

Coke is nothing special but could bounce back at home...kinda like the tigers.

No, Coke has been and absolute mess this year. Strike outs are down, his Walks are up and despite being friends with the Luck Dragon, he's 1-3.

The best that can be said is that he is very effective vs Lefties (which is why he was successful as a reliever that last two years)

Phil Coke being the Phil Coke I remember. Was shocked he's had some success as a starter this year. Felix needs to actually pitch like the ace he is though now that he's got another multiple run lead.
