I base my plays on several factors. Most of them are situational (starting pitcher, bullpen health, traveling, etc). I use "key trends" to identify how these factors translate into into wins and losses so that I can easily track them and find out if they are still proving to be profitable. But bottom line, I always go with my gut no matter what a trend tells me.
