    Cain Wednesday
Giants go for the sweep at Coors. They are +110.

Cain is 3-1 in his last four starts there, allowing just 6 ER in 29 IP with 26 K's. I think there is incredible value in taking SF. I know De La Rosa has a very good track record vs. the Giants, but I think Cain gets the job done here.

What's the angle for the Rockies being favored here, although they've been outplayed in the series? Is it the "won't get swept"-angle? With the Gians playing well lately and with Cain on the mound, isn't SF at +110 a steal?

Does Vegas want us to pound the Giants? Input would be appreciated.

I personally like Cleveland. Gotta fade Hochevar.

Have to question why the Rockies are favored... I'm laying off but best of luck with your play!

Big Daddy Cain is the answer.
          Giants sweep the Rockies.
Rockies have been on a slump with their bats and it looks good to get them.

NC, De la rosa has gotten lit up by the Giants, especially last year. Take a look at his record in the past vs Giants lineup.

With that being said, the value is one of the best on the board. De La Rosa can't keep up his record for that long, I'll tell you that.

in the last 3 years, De La Rosa has a 2.26 ERA and a 1.039 WHIP against SF. last year he had a 2.77 ERA and a 1.308 ERA in 13 IP against SF. on top of that, the rockies are 8-1 last 3 years against sf with De La Rosa on the mound.

on the other hand, cain has a 2.78 ERA and a 1.170 WHIP against the rockies last 3 years. last year he had a staggering 1.69 ERA against the rockies and boasted a .781 WHIP. the Giants are 7-4 last 3 years against the rockies with cain on the mound.

don't have time to check their head-to-head stats, but i'm not surprised the rockies are favored.

already played SF for 2x. Cain does not get the respect he deserves from the books imo. Giants' bats are hot and it should not change today. the Giants lineup hits De la Rosa for 0.280 avg, while Rocks hit Cain for a mere 0.202 (these are the stats for batter vs pitcher on espn)

Pablo Sandoval is not expected to be in the starting lineup Wednesday vs Colorado (Rest) and its the same for Aubrey Huff.

Rowand may also sit out. He was hit by a pitch yesterday. But Miguel Tejada will be back in action (rested yesterday). And, also, the big development is that, for the first time this regular season, Cody Ross will be on the roster, and probably starting with Rowand and Huff out. Giants are actually a very deep team. They will be fine without Sandoval and Huff today. I'll take the Giants with Cain up, at +110.

Not exactly an imposing lineup, and De La Rosa is no slouch.

I'm taking SF for 1U -- would be bigger if circumstances were better. Not crazy about lack of line movement in Giants' direction.

tough call, Cain is solid but don't really want to bet against the Rockies as a small home fav in a antisweep situation

I like Cain and I appreciate the depth of the Giants, but I can't get involved against a pitcher (De La Rosa) who is at home with a 3.18 ERA, 1.67 BAA, allowing only 10 hits in 17 innings with 14 K's. Oh, and did I mention Col is scoring over 5.24 R/gm in the last 7......top 5 in MLB....

They would have to intice me a little more than +110

                                          Good luck on your action...
