Work has swamped me lately, so I have not had the chance to write up my picks. It's been a rough year; lots of blown 9th inning games and some blowouts, but I hang in.

Today I'm placing my first on the Patriots Day Game: Red Sox vs Blue Jays.

I'm taking the Jays. Its hard to not to bet against Dice K. Yes he's solid against the Jays, but he just doesn't have the fastball to control hitters anymore. I'll take Romero, who is putting together a strong start and I think will continue that and turn his fortune against the sox.

I'll say the Jays win 7 - 3.

And as usual, I'm way off. Dice K throws a one-hitter and if it weren't for a solo shot by Yunel, the Sox would've had a clean sheet on the run board. Way to show up Jays
