I have a formula I use that takes AHWG for the last three games of the starting pitcher, team batting avg for the season (verses lh or rh pitching) and bull pen era for the last seven games. I also factor the ump behind the plate. I come up with a total for the game and compare it to the posted line and play the three I think are the best. Just crunching numbers.
