    Thursdays Strong Plays
    Play 1:
    Parlay Brewers -132/Cubs -1.5....$100 to win $304

Brewers have Sheets on the Mound and just gave away a win last night to the Dodgers. Cubs have Dempster on the mound who has been throwing great this year. Cubs average 9 runs or so in his starts.

    Play 2:
    Parlay Flo-Cin Over 9.5/Atl-Phi Over 9/Tampa Bay -150/Cubs -162....$69 to win $610

    Play On
    Any team (CHICAGO CUBS)
good hitting team (AVG >=.275) against a good starting pitcher (ERA <=3.70) -NL, starting a pitcher who gave up <=2 earned runs in his last 2 outings

47-22 over the last 5 seasons.
    68.1% (25.9 units)

    Play Against
    Any team (NY YANKEES)
very bad AL offensive team (<=4.2 runs/game) against a team with a very good bullpen (ERA<=3.33), with an overused bullpen that pitches more than 3.2 innings per game

    90-38 since 1997.
    70.3% (40.3 units)

The two overs just seem good considering the Braves bats are good right now and they hit good against lefties. And the Phillies should definitely get their share of runs against Chuck James....Florida/Cincy, Florida playing to not get swept, and their pitcher Andrew Miller can get rocked at any time.

    Play 3:
Parlay Cubs -162/Braves Over 9....$100 to win $208

    Same reasons as posted above.

More on the Florida/Cincy Over 9.5: The Over is 4-0 in Belisle's starts for Cincy and he has a 7.45 ERA. The Over is 6-1-1 in Andrew Miller's starts for Florida and he has a 6.52 ERA. Over is 2-1 in the series so far heading to the fourth game where Florida will try to avoid the four game sweep with some good hitting. And I expect both pitchers to make this a fun game to go to if you like home runs.

More on the Braves/Phillies Over 9: Chuck James ERA is 7.58 and Hamels ERA is 3.36. That alone puts the total over. The Braves hit .281 against lefties so although Hamels is a solid lefty, the Braves should manage to get some runs off of him. The Philles just might get their bats together today as Ryan Howard hit a HR last night and may be on the way out of his slump - not to mention Chuck James will last 5 innings and most likely give up 4-6 runs.

Thanks mofome. Had the Brewers yesterday for the heartbreaker and I don't like to go against teams on back to back days because for this same situation, if i take the Dodgers today then the Brewers will win, and i picked both losers in two days, haha. Happens once in a while so i avoid that situation altogether, and occasionally i'll take the same team to win the next day - which is today, taking the Brewers. Best of luck to ya.

Called that one on Chuck James giving up runs, but the Braves couldn't make it a game with Cole Hamels having a solid night.

0-3 on those parlays. Taking time off most likely won't play interleague play, but then again I think I'll find a game or two.
