GAME OF THE DAY:
New York Yankees AT Los Angeles Angels!
New york is coming hot in their pre-summer west coast trip winning 4 of their last 6 games, and 6 of their last 8. They face the Angels, who had a subpar road trip and lost their last two against KC.
Their offense has been so up and down, for the most part down the last 5 games, scoring 1, 0, 6, 10, 3, 0 respectively. The two games they had above 3 runs was against pavano (gascan) and Hochevar (not at his best, currently).
They send WEAVER to the mound, making them the faves for the ballgame. Weaver came out 5-0 for the season and dropped 5 of his last 6. One highlight however is that he went 9 innings giving up one run and lost to a horrible minny team. his pitching was on point there, with 7 K and 2H, but again, it was THE TWINS..the worst team in MLB, currently, IMO.
NYY send up SUPERNOVA, who has won 4 of his last 6.
yanks / laa where 4-4 last season, and had an edge on the angels as far as runs scored.
Long story short, i fade a struggling weaver, and a struggling angels lineup, and ride a hot yanks road team at a great price with an up and coming pitcher in NOVA.
