New york yankees -1.5 runs at 2.06 odds
Yesterday Yankees won 7-4, they outhitted O`s 12-8. Rodriguez and Posada, both have homered. New York was 6 runs up front after 2 innings. Four Yankees players had 2 hits each yesterday.

Alex Rodriguez is hitting .335 and he had 3 RBI`s yesterday.

Orioles scored 4 runs in 7th inning.

Phil Hughes, 16.50 ERA 0-1 this season needs to improve his pitching if he wants to stay in the bullpen.

Market moved from 10.5 run to 10 now.

Hughes probably will have some troubles on the mound. Yankees should do their job plus they got to save the pitcher a little bit. The advantage will come in innings 5-9 when O`s should have less hits than in the start and Yankees should check runline.

Problem is that that is not just a matter of pitching better for Hughes - there is something wrong with him.

His velocity is down (93 to 89) and is movement is off (-5.7 Hmov to -4.5)

all that lead to him leaning on his cutter to generate movement, but that has the same velocity issues (88 to 84); and that negates is Change as the velocity between his cutter and change is to minimal, 84 to 82. and his curve is also coming out flatter, -8.6 to -5.8 Vmov.

All that winds up him not have much difference in his pitches, he gets no strikes and and too many walks.

Do Not back Hughes untill he figures this out (or get put on the DL with elbow injury)
