Something tell me Liriano will be good today.... he has been given up way too many walks in his previous starts..something like 9 walks in 9.1innings... but this will change today. He dominates royals especially in his home field. I am going with RL @ +115 and putting small parlay on Tigers ML and Twins RL. GL guys!!!

My 3 largest plays of season r this afternoon det/kc over and minny -175 with -1-at +130.... And also big play on drabek have enough in account for one more big bet... torn between tor/sea total or tex.... Huge afternoon for bluto

As long as davies is pitching and bullpen is worn out it should take more than mauer out.... My feel is they will leave davies out there to save pen for weekend...

Twins are 1-0 with Mauer on the bench, and Mauer hasn't been hitting well to start the season anyway.

I do agree that Davies is pretty horrible, and if the Twins stay patient at the plate, they should take advantage of his pretty bad BB: K ratio. On the other hand, the Twins offense is miserable and just got worse with the loss of Joe Mauer..it is a tough game to call, but good luck. I will just take the under on this one.

Fair points. I felt that in the game last night the Twins showed some signs of life again at the plate. With some more favorable weather conditions today and the spark of a game winning hit, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Twins get 5-6 off Davis.

Liriano is good, but I think the Royals will be able to get to him for a couple. If the line was 8 I would be quite happy... at 8.5 I think it will be close eitherway.

I am on the over and hammered it pretty hard so I hope I'm right. Really tough call and in hindsight I should've probably stayed away.

It's true they have been slumping. Kyle Davies is not a Gio Gonzalez, Ricky Romero, Brett Anderson or underrated McCarthy.

Davies is the type of guy "historically" the Twins usually own... but we'll see what happens. IF Davies gives the Twins chances I think they'll score some runs.

Who knows tho I am negative on the year in baseball

I guess it depends on how you look at it. The Twins surely have better players than their numbers suggest. The core is still there from a team that's won the Central 3 of the past 4 years.

So far Royals have showed me they are frisky, with a Texaco for a bullpen.

Twins have been below average, and beatable.

The ball doesn't really carry between the gaps at Target Field. Almost every homer is down the lines.
