For now I will be keeping my picks in week long threads to avoid making so many posts.
On a nice 4-0 run the past two days looking to keep it going today. Good Luck!

Picks for April 8, 2011
Washington Nationals @ New York Mets (4:10 PM ET)
Zimmerman is just coming off Tommy John surgery, so he should see he best starts of the year come in May/June once he shakes the rust off. Even when he's healthy, who can trust Storen or any pitcher in that young Nats pen to get the job done. The Mets have to be pleased sitting at 3-3 so far this season, and that should carry over into solid offensive production at home against a recuperating Washington pitching staff. They'll need to today, as Washington has had a fair amount of success against Dickey who is coming off a great performance in warm, sunny Florida. I think the cooler weather of the northeast could affect his movement making this soft number at plus money well worth a shot.
Pick: [901] Total Runs Over 7½ +105 (Bookmaker)
Risk 1 unit to win 1.05 units
Texas Rangers @ Baltimore Orioles (7:05 PM ET)
This is the case again of another high caliber pitcher (citing Verlander a few days back) in their prime coming to the Orioles, who seemingly going to fight for a spot in the AL East, as low road chalk. The Orioles started out against the Rays who may have the worst lineup this year (without Longoria) and beefed up their confidence, but the reigning AL champs are night and day from the Rays. The Rangers are just 1 behind the league leader (Angels) with 117 total bases through 6 games, and do lead the league in OPS. Normally with a small line of -120 or less I take the ML, but the RL offers too great a value to pass up.
Pick: [921] Texas Rangers -1½ +158 (5Dimes)
Risk 1 unit to win 1.58 units
Toronto Blue Jays @ Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM ET)
Another match up much like the Mets game with a overvalued veteran (Santana) and a rising rookie sensation (Drabek). Once again I feel the sub-8 number offers value as Drabek is now put on the road against the hottest hitting team in the league who are averaging over 11 hits per game through the first week. Angel's bullpen hasn't instilled any confidence in me yet, and if the Jays are down, we likely won't see Toronto's top guns unless they make a comeback. I will gladly take what I feel is a number capable of being set over by either squad.
Pick: [927] Total Runs Over 7½ -105 (BetJamaica)
Risk 1.05 units to win 1 unit
