Yep ....noticed Glavine and Skip mentioned the 'here we go leading the league in hits with 2 outs again this year' aspect....my heart can't take that kind of year again

How do you feel about oswalt and hamels now?? they were both 5 top pitchers in baseball the second half of the season last yr... just showed the braves who their daddy is in their own house...

i like them both...i live in philly. i like oswalt more than hamels. braves1985 posted that he was old. my post was a reply to that. i wonder how he feels about tim hudson(36). cole is a true headcase. you can't deny that. think back to WS '09. But, in his defense, hamels could have won close to 20 games last year if the phils hit for him. think of how many games he left in the seventh, sometimes eighth inning last season giving up 3 or less runs. but they were tied and/or trailing. look at today, he's the new curt schilling for the phillies.

yea he got 1 run or less run support last yr in 8 games... and he still won 2 of them 1-0... he may be a headcase, but as seen in the 08 WS, he has the talent to be a cy young candidate....even roy halladay has spoke of his talent.. if he can keep his head in the game when things start to go the wrong way (like he did today), he will be up there with the best this yr... esp since he will be facing a majority of teams #4 pitchers
