2011 OFFICIAL Official MLB 17 Run Pool

Hey Everyone,
I'm gonna try and make this as organized as possible. If any of you have any ideas or issues, please just Private Message me to keep the board clear from any confusion. No big deal if we talk about games or betting or whatever, but any issues that you have I can't reiterate enough to just Private Message me. I'm hardly on SBR over the weekend so if I don't respond to you right away on a Saturday or Sunday, I promise I will be back on Monday through Friday, I work 9-530 so it's easy to manage!

Here are the rules for this Pool: (I'm just copying Jiggy Fly's rules and using his Spreadsheet he made)
- Your Team must score 17 runs exactly in a game.
- If 2 or more teams score 17 runs, the pot will be split.
- All points carry over week to week if no team scores 17 runs in a SINGLE GAME
- Weeks start on Mondays and end on Sundays
- If you don't have your points sent to me by Thursday of each week, you will be disqualified for that
week. NO EXCEPTIONS! (Only reason I say Thursday is because the week starts Mondays and ends on Sundays and Non-Pros will each need 3 days to submit a total of 5 points to me)

Now we all know 17 Runs in a game is quite a feat especially with how pitching rules Baseball now, so the pot will grow quite a bit I will assume, so each week I will remind you all to pay your 5 Points in the beginning of the week and keep an updated list for you all.

Hopefully it doesn't come down to that, I will private message everyone who hasn't paid or still has a balance, and if I don't receive a response within a day or so, I will disqualify them and see if anyone wants to take there place. I don't think there's really anything else I or we can do at this point right? It's only 5 points so if they wanna stiff or back out of that then that's pathetic if you ask me. LOL

ding ding ding I'm out also... seems like a lot of people miss understood the rules. It happened 5 times last year so for me to throw away points, on something that happened less than 1% last year ill pass

I still say getting 30 people to pay every week, for a contest that might not hit for 2 months will be 2 much. This should have been like a Square Board, 17 runs 4 the week on Sunday wins it. More interesting and easy to get people to fill in when the rest jump out. If them Jays have a miracle day thank you for your effort, if not im out playing 17 in 1 DAY.

No Disqualifications for week 1 since I just made the thread Wednesday, the "Thursday" rule will take place in week 2 and on.
If Teams do drop out next week which looks like they are going to, i'm open to suggestions on how to handle it, We can have people who are already in get 2 slots Max per person depending on how many people drop, which looks like ebbears, Shari and Stealthy are gonna for sure. But I gotta make a new paid list because it's not letting me edit the 1st thread anymore, I'm assuming cause it's over a day old?
