    Travel? (Solid Plays Tommorow!)
I see Detroit around +110 right now. I know BAL swept the Rays but they play at around 3:00 PM Eastern and they just finished the series in Tampa this afternoon. Anybody else think this day game will be a nightmare and a game that BAL flat out takes off? Detroit has youngster Rick Porcello who is much better than his 4.96 ERA indicated last year IMO. This Arietta kid can't be much better if any than Porcello IMO. I think BAL mails it in and Detroit picks up a needed win after losing their series against the Yankees.

    DETROIT (+110)

I also see a HUGE road trip for the Seattle Mariners. They finished up in Oakland today and have to get to Texas for tommorow nights game. This is a pretty good travel IMO, while Texas stays at home after sweeping the Red Sox. My only worry is the SP matchup. Bedard is solid but who knows how much he has right now after the injuries. Texas starts a true RP last year who hasn't started a game in his career from what I've saw. He did post a 1.30 ERA in 41.2 innings, 40 K's and 15 BB's isn't terrible either.

    TEXAS (-155)

I guess "takes off" was wrong to say but still I like the Tigers to win tommorow after such a huge uptick like sweeping the Rays on the road

Be careful betting against Bedard. He's one of those pieces of shit who can get hammered if you play him but toss a gem if you fade him.

might take under first 5 though. so far 3-0 on under first 5 for mariners and I can see them being shutout to start and if Bedard can have an okay game maybe limit the Rangers to 3-4 runs.

He's arguably the biggest pussy in baseball.

When he's on though, he can be lights-out with his curve.

I need to do some research re: Texas' lineup vs. lefties.

Bedard had a 1.13 ERA this spring.

The Rangers face the left-hander Monday night in their bid to go to 4-0. Bedard was a solid pitcher with Baltimore, but didn't pitch at all last season and has made just 30 starts since 2008. The Rangers have had some success against him.

Here's how they have fared ...

                            Elvis Andrus 0 for 5

                            Adrian Beltre 3 for 11

                            Nelson Cruz 3 for 8

                            Josh Hamilton 2 for 8

                            Ian Kinsler 7 for 20

                            David Murphy 1 for 5

                            Mike Napoli 2 for 6

                            Yorvit Torrealba 2 for 7

                            Michael Young 5 for 28.

Neither Arrieta or Porcello are any good.

A lot of runs possible in this one.
