right now you can get det -115 at det and that seems like a bargain.
Rasner dominated AAA this season with 7.84 k/9 and an ERA under 1, but he doesn't have much experience at this level and he's facing a team thats got a fairly decent lineup. Oddly, with all this talent, the tigers find themselves as one of the larger disappointments of the young season and they're just 11-20 vs right handed starters. Detroit is 2nd in the al in runs and walks, but they are last in the league in runs allowed and 2nd to last in walks allowed. all of that obviously points towards an over.
Bonderman has done pretty well against the yanks in his last 5 starts allowing 2, 4, 7, 2, and 4 runs in those games but the concerning news is the fact that he only has one strike out in his last 2 starts vs the bronx bombers.
The alarming trend for the Tiger bats is how they performed during day games where they are only batting .233 and averaging 3.1 runs per game. That really doesnt make sense for a lineup this talented and this expensive.
The yanks hit right handers pretty well and they're hitting .300 as a team over their last 7 games.
any plays on this one?
