Eveland and Millwood: games a about a pk, the total is high
10 runs in this game b/w two offenses that aren't all that impressive really. Oak is borderline awful and the Rangers have some talent, but they aren't exactly scary offensively.

Eveland has pitched well this season sporting an ERA around 3 and a K/9 of just over 6.5 which is pretty good. Dana is a ground ball pitcher which bodes well in Arlington where we all know the ball tends to fly out.

Millwoods K/9 number are well below his career average and his LD% allowed is awful so far this season. early in the year Kevin as getting a lot of hard hit outs, but his luck has run out recently.

The oakland bats have killed Millwood over the years managing a .341 overall average against him. Frank Thomas is hitting .600 of Kevin in 10 ABs while Emil BRown, Mike Sweeney, Mark Ellis, Jack Cust, and Daric Barton are all well over .300 vs he vet right hander. Barton doesn't have many ABs, but the rest have 9 or more.

Dana Evaland has no experience vs anyone in the Texas lineup other than marlon byrd who is 0-2 off him. typically i give the pitcher some advantage when seeing a team for the first time.

I dont see why the Rangers would win this game. a pk seems like a great price for oak backers.

I was also going to be on the Athletics, but since it moved off of plus money I will just pass. Or wait to it moves back to plus money.

    Good luck Mo.

I understand their offensive statistical deficiencies, but was just pointing out that somehow they manage to score a good amount of runs.

Value is with the Rangers -101 IMHO. Millwood, despite few tough games lately is a very good pitcher. Can't say the same about Eveland.
