Also liking the Rays and Marlins today. I think Pacocn's over pick on the Brewers might be a winner. I've lost on the Brewers the last 2 games - thought this might be a new year, but I guess I'll just go back to playing the Brewers overs.

like Rays and Marlins, too, Rick. really thinking about Brew/Reds over. there's a 22 mph win blowing from right to left, and Milwaukee's throwing a lefty, which may hinder Votto and Bruce. this wind would appear to be good for righties, not so much for lefties (so Fielder too). maybe i'm overthinking it.

according to Willie Bee's write up the wind blows
from 3b to Rf. Both Arroyo and Wolf are finesse pitchers
and I can see them getting hit hard by these two potent lineups.

yeah, that thread is must-view if you're playing totals. i lean over in MIL/CIN and under in LAA/KC, but may well pass on both because they each have 22-25 mph wind that looks dangerous for the respective totals that i like.

actually, if i'm understanding it correctly, from 3B to RF is north-to-south. there is a 21 mph win from SSE, so (again, if i have it right) this means wind blowing in from right, or at the very least, from right to left. you are right about the style of pitchers, and balls hit to left shouldn't be bothered much, but this may make it difficult for lefties like Votto, Bruce, Fielder to hit it out to right.

was looking at that one too. yeah, 10 is a lot but wind could be a big factor, it's also unseasonably warm in KC which is good for runs.

Hey Biff good luck today. As I understand it and I could be wrong in the Cincy game the wind is from the SSE (in from RT/CENT.) and in KC the wind is SW ( out to left/center) and CUBS wind from the SSE(out to rt/cent.) I threw in the CUB ex. as a benchmark cause we all know it blowing out. I hope this helps and please let me know if you disagree, for I would like to get it straight also.! GL

thanks, Terp, BOL to you too. Willie Bee's layouts say that Cincy park is N-S from 3B to RF, and wind's from SSE. the weather report says that it's supposed to shift to SSW over the course of the day, which is good. KC wind is definitely out.
