Guys. I learned long ago in dog training that when a dog engages in bad behavior -- crapping on the rug, chewing furniture -- it is oftentimes because he is receiving no attention, and that negative attention in the form of being yelled at for his offenses is better than no attention at all. I do not know the dynamics of Ralphie's personal life, but it is clear he thrives on the negative attention he receives here.
We do have to give Ralphie credit where it is due. He has succeeded in making this thread about himself. Scrolling through the last few pages you would not know it is GG's thread or even about baseball. It has become Ralphie's thread. His next level of perverse success will be getting it shut down, either by the mods bringing down the hammer or by GG getting so disgusted he decides to pull the plug on this.
Let's all make today May 9th "Eject Ralphie Day". I've already done so by putting him on the ignore list. (Thank you, Ralphie, for those instructions. And, no, I had not been reporting your posts with that red trianlge button. I did send a PM to one of the mods asking them to get you to knock this off. Seemed to chill things for about a half day but that was it.)
GG, I ask that you please lead the way with this. Please put Ralphie on your ignore list. You're the one he enjoys annoying the most. If you can't read his crap, he can't get to you. And you can then concentrate fully on what you do best: handicapping MLB and NBA games. I respect the time and effort you put into this and I thank you for sharing your work with the rest of us.
Please do not let this guy distract you from that or skew your emotions in anyway that would throw you off your game. Please put him on your ignore list. Let him wither from lack of fuel so he just fades away.
