I already started a thread saying the exact same things. I'm on Texas and all the Detroit backers keep telling me Detroit will win because there is no way they go down 0-3......

Do people not think Texas wants this game just as bad? If Texas wins the series is essentially over. If they lose, they're only up one game and have to face Verlander.

The books knew people would be all over Detroit yet they opened the line low and made it a bit cheaper for people to take the bait.

Texas is the better team and I'm getting plus money??? Really? I'll take that every time in this spot. Not to mention, Detroit has a ton of injuries and they're coming off a hear breaking loss.

this game made no sense to me at all.

bookies are either losing their grip over the league or I'm just crazy. But I can't believe the $$ bookie's lost today.

1. There were only 2 NHL games and this game today. Everyone and their mother bet on the Tigers today.

2. The lines did exactly opposite of what they were suppose to do.

3. Tigers are not looking good. I was expecting Fister to completely implode after a tough Yankees series. I'm expecting tiger's bullpen to implode any day now.

4. wouldn't this be a perfect spot for bookies to make back the money they lost on the Lions last night? you'd think every Detroit homer was on this game?

I only put a medium bet on it, didn't eve bother watching after 3rd inning. I just can't believe they lost.

I agree... Ill take the blame for making the bet,, but when you one of the ways you cap a game is by readingthe lines...then u are at the mercy of the oddsmakers.

They knew everyone was gonna be on detroit...why not open the game at - 140 and raise the line accordingly
