Good stuff, goldengreek, and if you're not posting picks while on vacation, then it's ok. Thanks for all the picks so far, as always.

          Have a good vacation!

Yankees can't play National League baseball.

Cubs will get to Garcia, but will Davis be worse?

Nice GG and good luck. I liked the Yanks at opening line of -135, but now my local has it at -170, so no way i'm playing that.....

wow. the biggest public fade of the year
requires balls made of solid titanium! god bless you, brah brah!
after much deliberation, I decided to roll with the bombers and eat chalk
for one unit, but I'm not super confident in the play, because it seems too easy.
my only feeling is "not looking a gift horse in the mouth", and just throwing down
with every square weekend player out there. maybe maybe the yankees win early,
joe public cashes heavy, and then the underdogs bark, bite, and fight all night!
good luck with your play, golden greek, and thank you for all your hard work.
                              good luck!

Garcia has dominated the Cubs in his career, but he's not the same Freddy either any longer. Kind of feel like the over is the play with these two pitchers at Wrigley. Over does worry me though with it being NL game though, since backend of Yanks lineup can be pretty weak even without Freddy in it.

I've watched the Yankees pull no runs all game with bases loaded for most of the later innings. With the Yankme's anything is possible especially losing.

I'm on the side of the Cubbies. Neither pitcher has been worth a darn lately so I think Chicago's got a good chance to pull this one out.

Actually both pitchers were pretty darn good in their last start. Freddy has been really good all year, except for that one awful start against Boston.....

The thing is, games that look "to good to be true" sometimes are, and sometimes aren't.. It's pretty much 50/50.. Maybe a slight edge here because the Yankees are always overvalued, but so are the Cubs..

I did same thing in a parlay. Couldn't take the juice on the Yanks so went with NYY and over in parlay. I really don't understand all this too good to be true talk. 60-70% juice on a road team doesn't seem too good to me?

Just wanting to point out that historically the AL dominates interleague, so make sure you pick your spots these next couple weeks when playing an NL team. Yankees, White Sox, BoSox and Twins have the best records in interleague history in that rank FYI. There are only 5 NL teams above .500 and they are Florida, Atlanta, St Louis, NYM, and San Fran. Pirates are the only team under .400 at .372 in winning %....just some interleague facts for you all to chew on.

Yea, I'm not saying to base all your bets off this, just giving you some facts, but history can only do so much for us.

I especially like the AL teams at home, b/c NL teams aren't built to have that extra batter to fill the DH, so while most AL teams have a really good hitter for that role a lot of NL teams do not.

Cubs looking good early, which is good for over, b/c Yanks will certainly get theirs
