Figured I would start a MLB season long thread this year. i am still kind of learning MLB as I really didn't watch baseball for about 15 years until last year. I felt like I started getting a good feel for it by the end of last year, so I might as well track my plays here. My betting will be the same as all my other threads. Mostly 1-3 unit bets with 5 typically being the most I will go on a play. For start of the season I will probably make mostly 1 unit bets. My baseball strategy will be similar to hockey for me. I never lay more than -150 chalk on anything. I will play a good amount of dogs and low chalk plays. I also like to play alot of totals/team totals in baseball. I think there is alot of value in that aspect of MLB. Today I made 5 1 unit plays and went 4-1 with the wins being Tigers O 8, Reds O 8, Angels -1, Dodgers ML and 1 loss being the O 8.5 in Nationals game. I won't count these in my record since I didn't post, but it was a good opening day for me
I feel like a degenerate betting baseball so early in the season with so many questions, but that is why most plays will only be 1 unit to start. Hopefully I can turn a profit in this grind of a season.
