I'm sick of baseball because during a long drive in the car on Thursday, I had the Braves game on the radio and it was close to unlistenable, having commercial plugs jammed down your throat for two and a half hours. No, a manager can't just change pitchers; he has to make a "Verizon Wireless call to the bullpen" in order to do it. (He spewed this for both teams, and I'm wondering how the marketing departments of the other teams feel about this, particularly those who have sponsorships with other cell phone providers.) And then in the ninth inning, with the Braves leading, 2-0, he says, "Sure would be nice to have some Safeco insurance runs here."

This kind of crap all day long made a long drive interminable.

Unlucky with the Brewers man I have Axford as the closer in my Fantasy team so that didn't turn out too well
